Gary Williams says:

I would never self publish a book under any circumstances. I notice you do not say in the video how much money the book made. You´re already blown four grand. Tell me how you are going to get that back? Please inform us. Self publishing is a big craze now. Any writer who has a book someone would want read gets a damn good literary agent. The literary agent shops it around to editors at trade publishers. The publisher give you and advance against royalties. The publisher designs the book cover, does the formatting, give you the ISBN number, copy edits the book, proofreads the book. The author writes the book and that is all the author does. I wrote my last book on a Royal typewriter than I have had since 1980 and mailed in the manuscript to the publishers. Publishing the book cost me nothing. I received an advance when I signed the book contract.

"…at this point I knew that a paranormal voice, totally independent from the medium, was speaking in mid-space in my blacked-out bedroom. The next question would be, 'who was speaking?'"

A Walk On The Wild Side is a compilation of Gary Williams' experiences with paranormal and psychic phenomena over a fifty year period. It includes his involvement with the UFO phenomena, predictions of the future made to him by psychics that came true years later, and his encounters with ghosts and poltergeists.

REVIEWS & ENDORSEMENTS
“There is no experience like first-hand experience”, says Gary Williams, “and I have had many of them.” In this lively and enjoyable book he shares many of them with the reader, whether they were positive, like his sittings with mediums Brian Hurst, Warren Smith, Albert Best and Alex Tanous and an encounter with a poltergeist, or negative, as in the case of a well-known couple who he describes as “blatant frauds”. He also has little time for fashionable TV “mediums” who somehow manage to keep going despite evidence for their fakery. I would advise any of these pretenders who come across Gary to run away and hide. Good travel guides know their chosen areas. In this book, readers are in safe hands as they are guided through several of those mysterious regions often lumped together and labelled “paranormal”- from UFOs, ghosts and EVPs, (electronic voice phenomena), to precognitive dreams, predictions and reincarnation. Homage is also paid to such members of the Hall of Fame psychical research as Leslie Flint, Edgar Cayce, and especially the author´s friend Alex Tanous. There are also chapters on astrology, which Gary practices, and religion, about which he has his reservations. The book is as informative as it is enjoyable reading, and its author comes across as an honest seeker of truth who does his best to clarify an often misunderstood subject. ~ Guy Lyon Playfair

James Hinkle says:

I have already picked out my cover artist and "Eight Little Pages" looks like the perfect place for me to get the cover for my debut novel.

santanasg says:

This was so informative! Thank you Vivien! ❤️❤️

QueenCloveroftheice says:

– editor fees
– artist commissions
– cover designer payment
– ordering physical copies of your books
Even if you do the formatting yourself and use a free publishing service, the expenses add up!
By the way, I am an editor, but I will still pay someone else to look over my work because you should never self-edit!

Lewys Tapscott-Nott trailer review says:

I might use your videos for my educations.

Nikkimond says:

That's like 2000+ copies that need to be sold just to make back the initial cost + marketing costs. Not every book is going to have that large of a target market.

Gold Leader says:

Teleporting dogs…..somebody should make a novel about that.

Kristen Martin says:

Such a great video!!! 😍

Andrew Murray says:

Kim Chance sent me. 😀

Bima Sudiarto says:

Anyway, that would make it above USD3500 to self publish, yeah? Yay.

Bima Sudiarto says:

I hate paperback. Lol. Hate collecting dust, that is.

Hannah The Writer says:

As someone considering self-publishing, I found this very helpful so thanks!

Fullforce Fist says:
